Our History

 

U.S. Drywall Inc. was started in 1987 as a non-union, partnership company, in the mid-90’s Joe Medeiros took full ownership of the business and remains Sole Proprietor to this day. In hopes of growing the business U.S. Drywall became signatory with the Carpenter’s, Painter’s and Laborer’s Unions in 1999, and in just a few short years the company was able to progress from 1-2 million in annual sales to 10-12 million. Our main focus is primarily on the public sector and we specialize in large scale projects such as schools, colleges and libraries; however the company has also worked on many retail stores, office buildings and tenant fit-ups. Our average project typically falls within the range of 1-3 million, but we have taken on projects as little as 20-30k and as large as 8-9 million. U.S. Drywall also prides itself on being a family oriented company and employs a number of family members in the office and the field.
